August 4, 2024 – The local Scouting council will host their 2nd Annual “Dueling Pianos for Scouting” fundraiser on August 6th, with a night of entertainment and support for local youth programs.
The event will be held at the Children’s Museum of Illinois, featuring two pianists engaged in a musical showdown of classics and modern hits. Last year’s fundraiser raised $20,000 for local Scouting initiatives.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together in support of local Scouting, while enjoying a fun-filled evening of music and camaraderie.” said David Lane, Assistant Director of Field Service with the local Scouts.
The evening will start with a cocktail hour at 6:30 pm, heavy appetizers, and an open bar, followed by the dueling pianos performance at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available for purchase online at stlbsa.org/pianos, with all proceeds directly benefiting Scouting activities and educational opportunities for local youth. Tickets are $60 a single or a table of 8 for $425.
