Impact200 Grant Accepting Applications Through September 13

August 7, 2024 – The Heart of Illinois Community Foundation (HICF) is now accepting applications for the Impact200 grant. Nonprofit and educational organizations in Macon, Piatt, Moultrie Counties, and Paris, IL, can apply for a share of the $200,000 available this year. This grant is part of a $1 million funding collaboration, Moving Forward, between HICF and Decatur Earthmover Credit Union. 

Impact200 welcomes proposals in arts, culture, recreation, social services, conservation, environment, health, youth, and education. Grants range from no minimum amount to a maximum of $50,000. Applications are open until September 13 at 4:30 PM, with recipients announced on October 15 at 8:05 AM on Byers & Company. 

Eligible organizations must serve the specified regions and have 501(c)(3) status or be a qualified charitable, religious, or government entity. The HICF prioritizes organizations recognized as operating public charities by the IRS for at least three years.

The Heart of Illinois Community Foundation, established in 2000, manages over 400 funds with total assets of $57 million, having distributed $53 million to charitable causes.
