August 11, 2024 – The Decatur Area Arts Council’s community arts grants program is taking applications until September. The program is available to not-for-profit organizations, schools, churches, or arts groups planning arts-focused projects or programs in the next 12 months.
The DAAC Community and Education Grants Program provides financial assistance to qualified applicants in Macon County and the towns of Assumption, Clinton, Moweaqua, Pana, and Taylorville. Grant awards generally range from $200 to $1200.
The next grant deadline is Monday, September 2, 2024.

Grant applications are reviewed three times a year. The three regular application deadlines are September, February, and May.
Funds for these grants are made available through the National Endowment for the Arts, Illinois Arts Council, Ameren Illinois, Land of Lincoln Credit Union, and Decatur Area Arts Council donor support.
