Macon County Fairgrounds to host Christian Music Festival, benefiting Salvation Army

August 11, 2024 – The Macon County Fairgrounds will host a Christian Music Festival on Saturday, August 24. Four groups will perform on from 11:00 to 6:00 pm at the Macon County Fairgrounds inside the Dunn Community Building across from the grandstands.

Headlining the festival is Avenue from Nashville, Tennessee. Avenue has hit #5 on the God’s Music Today list for the song “Talking to Jesus”. The band has been nominated for the Red-Letter Award – Kingdom Song Category for “Be the Change,” along with chart-toppers “One of These Mornings,” which rose to #13 on the national Singing News chart.

The second Nashville group is Cline, a popular CCM worship band whose single, ”Worthy One.”

Other acts will include Raphael Ruggero and local favorites, Zach Garrett & Michael Scherer.

The Christian Music Festival will have food vendors on site.

Tickets are only $10.00 each. They can be purchased online www.maconcountyfair.com or at the door. Lawn chairs are optional.

Proceeds from the Festival will be donated to The Salvation Army.
