August 28, 2024 –The Downtown Decatur Music Festival will take place on August 30-31, offering a weekend of live music, food, and community activities. The event will include performances by local and regional bands, with headliners Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band on Friday and Marbin on Saturday.
The free event will take place Friday from 5 pm to 12 am and Saturday from 11 am to 12 am downtown Decatur, from Central Park to Preston Jackson Park.
The event will include a children’s area with games and activities, food, and arts and crafts vendors.
“Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band is a big draw for us this year, and we’re excited to bring Marbin back for Saturday. It’s a great chance for the community to come together and enjoy what Decatur has to offer.” said event organizer Darin Coffman.
