August 21, 2024 – Amid an ongoing emergency blood shortage, ImpactLife is partnering with Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur Public Library, and Warrensburg Latham High School to host a series of community blood drives in early September to help replenish local blood supplies.
The blood drives will be held at various locations, starting with the Decatur Public Library on Friday, August 30, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Elizabeth Madden Room. Decatur Memorial Hospital will follow with a drive on Tuesday, September 3, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Classroom C at 2300 North Edward Street. Warrensburg Latham High School will host the final drive on Friday, September 6, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM inside the Donor Bus at 425 N North Street.
Potential donors must meet eligibility criteria, including being at least 17 years old (16 with parental permission) and weighing more than 110 pounds.
