August 21, 2024 – Workforce Investment Solutions, representing Macon and DeWitt Counties, has planned a series of events throughout September to honor Workforce Development Month and help local residents connect with job opportunities.
The scheduled events will include job search workshops, recruiting events, and educational sessions aimed at various sectors, including hospitality, healthcare, law enforcement, and more. All workshops are free and available on a walk-in basis at the Illinois WorkNet Center located at 757 W. Pershing Road, Decatur.

Events will be conducted in partnership with local organizations, including the Decatur Police Department, Macon County Sheriff’s Office, and Richland Community College.
