August 26, 2024 – The Northeast Community Fund will hold its 6th annual Farm to Fund dinner on Saturday, September 28th, along the middle of Merchant Street in downtown Decatur.
The event will feature a community meal prepared by students from Richland Community College’s Bistro 537, followed by an auction and live entertainment, including dancing in the street. This year marks the 55th anniversary of the Northeast Community Fund, with a fundraising goal of $55,000 to support its various community programs.
The Northeast Community Fund has been serving the Decatur community since 1969, providing food, home services, financial services, and other support through its food pantry and family investment program.
