September 5, 2024 – The Decatur Park District is hosting family-friendly activities this Sunday to celebrate Grandparents’ Day.
On Sunday, September 8 from 1 – 4 p.m., Scovill Zoo will host an old-fashioned fall festival with cake walks, games, and more. Train and carousel fees apply.
Both Scovill and Overlook Adventure Park facilities will offer grandparents free admission with a paying child. Scovill Zoo hours are 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (zoo ground closes one hour after last admission) and Overlook Adventure Mini Golf will be open from noon – 8 p.m.
