Septemeber 8, 2024 – The Decatur Area Arts Council and Gallery 510 will once again be bringing the arts to downtown Decatur with Arts in Central Park.
The event, held in Central Park in downtown Decatur, will be held Saturday and Sunday, September 21st and 22nd as well a VIP preview party on September 20th. More than 70 booths will be open with juried artists from throughout the Midwest exhibiting a variety of artwork for sale, including jewelry, pottery, glass, fiber arts, paintings, and more.
There will also be Caricatures by local artist Ed Lozano, Jr., a special Kids ArtShop for children 12 and under to buy art in the Transfer House, Kids activities and live music by Celtic Whistle, Sidewalk Stompers, and Red Wheel Barrows.
Arts in Central Park hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. You can also sign up to be a volunteer on the arts council’s page.
