September 18, 2024 – Paw Print Ministries will host its annual “Dogs and Donuts” event to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The event will take place Saturday, September 21st from 9:00 am to noon at the Paw Print Ministries training facility at 2555 E. Federal Drive. Attendees will be able to meet the comfort dogs, enjoy donuts from Big Hungry Donuts, and coffee from Rockwell Coffee on site.
In addition to touring the facility, families can participate in the Find Comfort Dog kids’ game with giveaways.
Paw Print Ministries was founded in 2014 by Jennifer Dahn with a single comfort dog and a calling. Ten years later, over 45 dogs and handlers volunteer and serve in the community. Paw Print Ministries is a comfort dog ministry based out of Central Illinois where registered therapy/ comfort dogs serve in a variety of locations across central Illinois, such as nursing homes, schools, courthouses, libraries, crisis deployment, and other capacities.
