September 24, 2024 – The Children’s Museum of Illinois is supporting the WSOY Community Food Drive by offering a $1 off entry fee for each guest who brings at least one canned item to the museum.
To help raise awareness of the Food Drive, museum staff member, Makayla Rodgers constructed a rubber duck sculpture out of cans! Museum visitors are invited to contribute to the sculpture by bringing in canned goods to keep the Duck “company”.
Limit one dollar off per person per visit, but there is no limit to the number of canned goods you can bring!
Visitors can also make monetary donations at the Members Services Desk to the WSOY Community Food Drive.
All canned goods collected (including the duck!) will be taken to the WSOY food drive on October 4.
