September 25, 2024 – Rock Springs Nature Center will host a “Bigfoot Hike” on Saturday, October 5 from 7-9pm. Hikers can explore the world of cryptids, creatures, and nocturnal wildlife, then finish the night by sipping hot cocoa and toasting marshmallows by the fire.
This unique event kicks off with a fascinating look into the legend of Bigfoot, including local sightings and recorded sounds that have sparked curiosity for years.
After learning about Bigfoot and other nocturnal creatures, attendees will set off on a night hike to see if you can spot the “big guy” yourself! Along the way, participants will also learn about the nocternal wildlife that comes to life after dark.
The event is $5 per person and online registration is required by 12pm on October 4th. Register at MaconCountyConservation.org.
