Macon County Fair Association to hold 4th annual Harvest Fest October 3rd-5th

September 17, 2025 – Harvest Fest will return to the Macon County Fairgrounds from Friday, October 3, through Sunday, October 5, offering a variety of family-friendly activities.

Attendees can enjoy a carnival, food trucks, shopping vendors, a haunted hayride, and a demo derby.

Event hours are Friday from 5–10 p.m., Saturday from 1–10 p.m., and Sunday from 1–6 p.m. Admission is $10 for ages 12 and older, $5 for ages 5–11, and free for children under 4.

The haunted hayride runs Saturday from 3–10 p.m. (kid-friendly until 7 p.m.) and Sunday from 1–6 p.m. (kid-friendly all day).

Carnival wristbands cost $25, with all-day wristbands available for $30 on Saturday, while individual rides require 2–5 tickets at $1.25 each.

A new Kids Barn area will feature activities such as grain cart basketball, bouncing balls, and pumpkin bowling.

The demo derby, including a kids’ Power Wheels class, will take place Saturday at 6 p.m., with tickets priced at $15 for adults and $6 for children; separate fair admission is required to attend.

Harvest Fest admission fees help sustain events at the fairgrounds year-round.
