December 9, 2024 – Voting is underway for the Decatur Area Arts Council’s Christmas Card Lane until December 24th.
The DAAC’s 7th annual community art project Christmas Card Lane features 19 larger than life plywood “Christmas Cards” that are painted by the community. The cards are displayed right now in Preston Jackson Park until December 30th.
The cards were installed by Unity Christian School students and volunteers from Theatre 7.
The community is invited to vote for their favorite card designs until December 24th and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three designs; First Prize $200, Second Prize $100, and Third Prize $50. The cards will continue to be on display after voting ends until December 30th.
