January 9, 2025 – The Decatur Area Arts Council and Gallery 510 will host the Young Artists Showcase Awards on January 10th.
The exhibit in the Anne Lloyd Gallery, presented by Gallery 510, features artwork created by students in the 5th through 8th grade from Macon County and surrounding areas. Approximately 120 pieces of artwork representing area schools will be exhibited.
You can view the exhibit from January 10th to the 25th during regular hours, but there will be a special first Friday awards receptions on January 10th from 5-7pm.
The awards will begin at 5:30pm and Best of Show and other awards will recognize 5th/6th and 7th/8th grades separately.
The event is free and open to the public.
