February 3, 2025 – The Knights of Columbus has announced the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held Saturday, March 15th, at 11:00 a.m. in downtown Decatur.
According to organizer Jim Wrigley the parade will include “Local businesses, schools, candidates, fire trucks, community groups, just plain ol’ silly fun people, dogs, horses, giraffes – you never know what will come down the street on Saint Patrick’s Day!” And of course there will be candy.
The parade will follow the traditional route, starting in the Ameren parking lot, heading north on Franklin, turning west on William and the south on Main before returning to the Ameren parking lot.
Following the parade, a party will be held at the KC Hall at 520 North St.
