February 9, 2025 – The African-American Cultural & Genealogical Society of IL, Inc. Museum will host a series of presents black history month presentations focused on African Americans in the military and local African Americans contributions in the community.
The Legacy of Ellsworth Dansby and the Tuskegee Airmen presented by Ellsworth Dansby III will be held Saturday February 15th from 2:00-5:00 pm and lastly, a Poetry Slam contest will be held on Saturday February 22nd from 2:00-5:00 pm and the winner will receive a prize.
All events will be held at the museum at 235 W. Eldorado. The presenations are free and open to the public, but donations are always appreciated.
