February 16, 2025 – Macon County EMA will be hosting the National Weather Service Storm Spotter/ Severe Weather Seminar for those interested in reporting severe weather.
The seminar and training will take place March 6th at 6:30 pm at the Shilling Center Auditorium on the Richland Community College campus. Registration will begin at 6pm.
The free training is open to the public and will cover storm characteristics, the basics of storm spotting, and methods of reporting severe weather.
