March 18, 2025 – The American Cancer Society will host “Fork Cancer”, a culinary event to help raise funds for cancer research and patient support.
The event will be held Thursday, March 20th, 2025 – 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Richland Community College and will feature cuisine prepared by local chefs from various Macon County dining establishments, crafted brews from local distilleries, breweries, and wineries. There will also be live music by Black Velvet, games of chance, a silent auction, raffles and more.
Funds raised through Fork Cancer of Central Illinois help to support cancer research, provide more cancer screenings, help those in need of a ride to treatment, allow patients and their caregivers a place to stay in one of the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodges, and a 24/7 hotline for accurate medical information and support.
