March 2, 2025 – Mardis Gras, the Children’s Museum of Illinois’ (CMofIL) annual twenty one and up experience is returning to the CM of IL on Fat Tuesday, March 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The CM of IL staff and board will reshape a portion of the museum into a slice of New Orleans, complete with the sights, sounds, and tastes from a night out on Bourbon Street. The event will include authentically prepared food from Jeremy Morris of The Box catering paired with a selection of beer and wine along with live music from the Sidewalk Stompers, games like the infamous “punch wall”, raffles, and of course BEADS – all included in your ticket and all aged up appropriately for an adult crowd.
For the bourbon lovers, there will be an opportunity to bid on a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 15- year.
All inclusive tickets are $75 a person or $140 per pair, and a table of six for $400. Click HERE to purchase tickets.
All proceeds raised from this event support the work of the CM of IL including Angel Memberships for families in need in our community, new exhibit, and a variety of programs for families with children of all ages.
