March 5, 2025 – Macon Resources, Inc.is celebrating Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month with their Paint The Town Orange Campaign.
MRI has distributed orange yard signs to participating homes and businesses to Paint the Town Orange the week of March 10, showing their support of those living with developmental disabilities.
“It is of the utmost importance that our community not only acknowledges people who experience life differently but pledges to accept and include those individuals without judgment,” comments MRI’s President/CEO Amy Bliefnick.
“We need to celebrate our abilities, not our disabilities,” Bliefnick continues. “Our team is committed to this effort and welcomes the opportunity to speak to and engage with your place of business throughout the month of March and any time.”
In addition to Painting the Town Orange during the month of March, MRI is celebrating International Wheelchair Day on March 3, School Outreach Day on March 7, Day of Happiness on March 20, World Down Syndrome Day on March 21 and will end the month with a watch party of the hit musical motion picture Wicked on March 28.
