March 31, 2025 –The Midwest Toy and Comic Fest will host its second annual event at the Decatur Civic Center on April 12 and 13, 2025. The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days.
Activities include over 100 vendor booths featuring arts and collectibles, a video game contest, a costume contest, hourly door prizes, and a silent charity auction benefiting Dove Inc. Food trucks will be available on-site.
Sunday, April 13, is designated as Family Day, with free admission for children 12 and under. The video game and costume contests on Sunday will be exclusively for children.
Scheduled special guests are Don Gibb, an actor known for roles in Bloodsport and Revenge of the Nerds; Ryan Drummond, original voice actor for Sonic the Hedgehog video games; Marcus “Buff” Bagwell, former WWE and WCW professional wrestler and member of nWo; Paul Niemeyer, artist responsible for artwork including Mortal Kombat’s dragon logo; Brian Colin, video game designer and animator of games like Rampage; and Isaak Wells, known for his portrayal of Skeletor on Instagram and TikTok.
