April 7, 2025 – Hardy’s Race for the Lake Boat Races will return to Decatur, Illinois on June 7 and 8, 2025, featuring the 2025 APBA Eastern Inboard Divisionals.
The races will take place at Nelson Park on Lake Decatur and are expected to draw thousands of spectators. The event includes competitive boat racing, food vendors, arts and crafts, and family-friendly activities.
Over 7,000 people attended the event in 2024. The 2025 event is supported by the Warren Daniel Hardy Charitable Fund, the Decatur Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, the City of Decatur, and the Decatur Park District. Updates and more details are available at www.decatur-parks.org.
