May 1, 2025 – The Childrens Museum of Illinois (CMofIL) will hold its annual Duck Derby this weekend on May 3rd from 11am to 1pm at the museum, giving participants a chance to win a grand prize of $3000.
Particpants can purchase a rubber duck and then cheer it on as it races down a custom, Mueller-built water track in heats for a chance to win a $3,000 grand prize. You do not have to be present to win.
The event will include duck races with heats and a grand finale, Hands-on STEM Lab activities, a petting zoo & family activities, pizza from Papa Murphy’s, Coffee by Rockwell Coffee Company, and a rubber duck hunt.
Families can also enjoy $2 off admission inside the museum.
All proceeds benefit the Children’s Museum of Illinois.
