June 26, 2025 -This year, Caterpillar celebrates its 100th anniversary, and its Decatur facility marks its 70th anniversary in the community. To celebrate, the Caterpillar Foundation has announced a generous donation of $51,000 to Northeast Community Fund.
The official Centennial Celebration will be taking place on July 1st. As part of the celebration, the Decatur facility will host the centennial world tour of Caterpillar’s immersive mobile exhibit for it’s employees, which tells the story of Caterpillar’s first 100 years and showcases what is possible in the next 100 years.
