July 6, 2025 – Kurt Younghouse of Decatur announced his candidacy today for the Republican nomination for Macon County Clerk.
Younghouse, a Republican, says his platform is focused on fiscal responsibility, finding innovative ways to lower property taxes, and promoting voter integrity.
“I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Republican nomination for Macon County Clerk,” said Younghouse. “I am committed to working hard for the people of Macon County and addressing the challenges we face. I am confident that together, we can build a brighter future for Macon County. I invite everyone to join me in this campaign and work towards a better tomorrow.”
Younghouse, an educator and coach, began serving Macon County four years ago when he was nominated to the Sanitary District of Decatur Board.
