July 28, 2025 – A band performing at Devon on August 2nd will highlight the work of God’s Shelter of Love in Deacatur and give concert goers a chance to purchase merchandise to support the cause.
The Phil Collins Experience is a show that pays tribute to the music of Phil Collins and Genesis. Known as the most authentic Phil Collins tribute in the U.S., also uses their shows to promote the plight of the homeless.
Phil Collins wrote “Another Day in Paradise” in 1989 to raise awareness across the globe about homelessness. The Phil Collins Experience carries on this mission in each city they tour raising money for a local homeless charity in each community through merchandise sales and God’s Shelter of Love was chosen for their Decatur show on August 2nd.
Merchandise sales proceeds from the show will benefit God’s Shelter of Love, which provides emergency housing to women and children.
