July 31, 2025 – The City of Decatur and the Coalition of Neighborhood Organizations will hold the 2025 National Night Out (NNO) on August 5th at Johns Hill Park.
NNO is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer.
This year’s theme “No Time for Crime” is a FREE family event from 5 to 8pm which will include food, games, prizes, face painting, bounce houses, giveaways, music and more.
The NNO campaign involves local government officials, not-for-profit organizations, citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses and neighborhood organizations. Over 16,000 cities around the U.S. will host block parties, cookouts, parades, flashlight walks, contests, and youth activities. In all, over 38 million people are expected to participate in “America’s Night Out against Crime”.
