U of I Extension to hold free financial skills classes

July 22, 2025 -University of Illinois Extension will host a free eight-week interactive financial education series, called “All My Money” at the Decatur Family YMCA.

“All My Money” sessions will begin at 11 a.m. at the Decatur Family YMCA, 220 West McKinley Ave.

Aug. 4- Who Am I With Money?
Aug. 11- Tracking Spending
Aug. 18- Savings
Aug. 25- Spending Plans
Sept. 8- Money Services
Sept. 15- Choosing Credit
Sept. 22- What Happens if I Don’t Pay?
Sept. 29- Credit History and Score

“All My Money allows us to slow down and start learning the basics of money management through thoughtful and engaging activities,” says Extension staff member Leighton Burcham.   “Having knowledge on money management at any level is important and gives you access to skills that can help you achieve your financial goals.”

This series is open to ages 18 and up. There is no charge to participate; however advance registration is requested by July 31 at go.illinois.edu/AllMyMoneyDMP.
