September 9, 2025 – The Decatur Area Arts Council is putting a creative spin on giving back with a unique printmaking workshop that will benefit the WSOY Community Food Drive.

The hands-on event invites participants to design their own soup can prints in the style of Andy Warhol, the legendary pop artist whose work celebrated everyday objects in bold, colorful ways. Artists Emma Morrison and Shani Goss will lead the session, guiding participants through the printmaking process.

The workshop will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Decatur Area Arts Council. Admission is $25 or a donation of canned goods valued at $25, with all proceeds supporting the WSOY Community Food Drive.

The WSOY Community Food Drive brings together local businesses, schools, and organizations to collect both food and monetary donations. The drive helps stock the shelves of over 20 food pantries and feeding programs across Macon County who are facing food insecurity.
