September 29, 2025 – An event titled Local by the Lake is planned for Friday, October 3, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Beach House to benefit the Empowerment Opportunity Center. The event will feature pairing stations showcasing Central Illinois farm-fresh ingredients, breweries, and wineries.
Tickets for the event are available at different price points: $50 for individuals, $80 for pairs, and $300 for a table of eight.
Live music will be performed by the group Fun with Bick & Jane during the event.
