October 13, 2025 – Decatur’s Rock Springs Nature Center will host “Treat Trail” this fall, inviting families to enjoy a spooky evening along the bike trail and through the pine forest on October 18th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and bring treat bags as they visit multiple treat stops, each featuring interactive activities. After completing the trail, attendees can stop inside the Nature Center for warm apple cider and cookies. Registration for the event is now open, with online sign-ups available through October 15. Admission is $5 per treat-collector and $2 for each accompanying guest.

The Treat Trail has become a popular local event, and organizers are offering sponsorship opportunities for businesses, families, and organizations to contribute to the experience. Sponsorship options include Treat Station Sponsor ($200), Snack Station Sponsor ($500), and Presenting Sponsor ($1,000), each providing opportunities to decorate stations, distribute treats, or gain recognition on promotional materials. The event aims to create a memorable Halloween experience for the community while supporting the Nature Center.
