October 3, 2025 – The WSOY Community Food Drive is underway today at Kroger on Rt. 36, and the outpouring of generosity from schools, businesses, churches, and neighbors across Macon County is already making a huge impact.
From the moment the broadcast began, donations of food and funds have been rolling in—proof once again of what this community can do when it comes together to fight hunger. Every gift, large or small, is helping stock the shelves at Northeast Community Fund, Catholic Charities, The Salvation Army, and The Good Samaritan Inn, as well as provide financial support to other local food pantries.
Organizers are extending their heartfelt thanks to the many donors who are making this day possible. To honor everyone who is helping feed our community, an Donor Thank You Page has been created where names and totals will be updated throughout the day. Visit the Donor Thank You Page today!
