Rotary 180 accepting grant applications

October 19, 2025 – The Rotary Club of Decatur #180 is currently accepting grant applications.

Rotary 180  a not-for-profit service organization dedicated to serving the greater Decatur, Illinois area.  The Rotary Club maintains a grants program that is designed to support activities and programs that will have a beneficial impact on the community and improve the quality of life in the Decatur area.

Applicants must complete the online application located on the Rotary Club of Decatur website at decaturrotary.org.
Specifically, the Rotary Club of Decatur appropriates grant funding for the following:
  • Programs and Activities which benefit youth: The RotaryClub will support programs and activities that have a positive impact on youth. These programs and/or activities must result in new learning and new experiences for youth that will enable them to make constructive contributions to their communities and their peers. Such programs should introduce youth to activities and programs which are beyond normal schooling, and which enhance the ability of our youth to become leaders, contributors, and possibly future Rotarians.
  • Programs and Activities which expose youth and adults to different cultures, customs, and languages: Rotary is an international business and professional service organization, and as such, Rotary supports activities of an inclusive, multicultural and international theme that introduce individuals of various cultures to different practices and customs both in the business world and in daily living. As such, programs which encourage the introduction of different cultures and customs and improve alliances and partnerships with other people and nations are eligible for funding through the Rotary Club of Decatur Grants Program.
  1. Grant Applications are accepted from October 1 – November 30, 2025.
    The activity must take place during the calendar year of January 1 to December 31 in the year following the application process.
  2. All Grant Applications must include a budget ONLY for the proposed project, activity, or program.
  3. Grant Applications must include proof of the applicant’s 501(c)(3) status.
  4. Each organization awarded funding must present at a Rotary meeting before receiving their check.
  5. Grant requests not to exceed $1500.00
