October 29, 2025 – The Decatur Area Arts Council is inviting local businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals to take part in Christmas Card Lane, a popular annual holiday display that brings festive artwork to downtown Decatur each winter.
Participants will receive a large, primed wooden “card” to decorate and return by Tuesday, November 12. The finished pieces will be showcased along the downtown green space throughout the holiday season, viewed by thousands of visitors.
Christmas Card Lane is open to:
- Businesses & Organizations: Promote your brand while supporting the arts.
- Schools: Get students involved in a collaborative, creative holiday project.
- Individuals: Share your holiday spirit and artistic talents with the community.
Participation requires a $50 entry fee, and space is limited. Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cash prizes will be awarded:
- $200 for 1st place
- $100 for 2nd place
- $50 for 3rd place
