The sock skating rink, set up in the mess hall, will be open during usual hours of operation and is included in the price of admission. Families can glide on synthetic ice while enjoying an indoor winter wonderland from November 25th until the end of December, including during the Happy Noon Year event.

For more winter fun, the museum is also hosting a Sip & Slide event on Saturday, December 13th. The event will include sock skating, hot cocoa, and cardboard gingerbread house decorating. General admission will apply and cardboard gingerbread house decorating is $10 per participant.

The museum will also host a Sip & Slide Adult Version on Thursday, December 18th with mulled wine, holiday baked goods, sock skating, and DIY ugly Christmas sweater decorating.
