Crossing Healthcare Board of Directors Appoints Julie M. Brilley, MPH, as Chief Executive Officer

February 10,2026 – The Crossing Healthcare Board of Directors has announced the formal appointment of Julie M. Brilley, MPH, as Chief Executive Officer. Following her service as Interim CEO since late 2025, Brilley’s appointment ensures continuity in leadership and a focused vision for the organization’s future.

“Since stepping into the interim role, Julie has demonstrated the executive foresight Crossing Healthcare needs,” said Board Chair April Ingram. “Her deep roots in the Decatur medical community and her success as COO make us confident that her leadership will guide Crossing to new levels of patient care and community impact.”

During her time as Interim CEO and previously as Chief Operating Officer, Brilley has played a key role in expanding patient access across Crossing Healthcare’s 17‑acre campus and streamlining operations. Her appointment ensures a seamless continuation of the mission‑driven work that defines the organization.

“I am deeply honored to lead this incredible team,” said Brilley. “As we look ahead, we remain dedicated to providing high‑quality, compassionate care while adapting to meet the evolving needs of our community.”

Brilley earned her Master of Public Health from Saint Louis University and her Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She has a long‑standing commitment to community well‑being, reflected in her service on several nonprofit and healthcare boards throughout Macon County. Her background includes extensive experience in strategic planning, operational leadership, and efforts to enhance the standard of care for local residents.
