March 8, 2026 – The Macon County Fair will host its annual Farmer’s Breakfast on Friday, March 13, offering a free meal and agricultural presentations for members of the local farming community.
The event is intended for farmers, farm managers, implement dealers, row crop and livestock producers, grain facility operators and others involved in agriculture throughout the Macon County area.
A hot buffet breakfast will be served from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Pride of the Prairie building at the Macon County Fairgrounds.
The program will include presentations from several guest speakers. Conner Bridgman of AgMarket.Net will discuss managing price risk in 2026. Angi Carter and Laura Enger of Farm Credit Illinois will present on interest rates, land values and the Fresh Roots program.
Evan Hall will also provide an update on developments at the fairgrounds, including livestock shows during the county fair, the Dallas Beyer Scholarship, harness racing and other projects.
The breakfast is free to attend and open to those involved in agriculture in the region.
