March 9, 2026- The Macon County Health Department will host its Spring Into Health community health fair on Friday, March 20.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the health department, located at 1221 E. Condit St. Organizers say the event is designed to connect residents with health services, screenings and community resources.
Attendees will have access to free blood pressure screenings, private testing for HIV and Hepatitis C, and assistance with applying for health insurance coverage. A resource fair will also feature more than 25 local organizations providing information about health and wellness services.
Free produce bags will be distributed during the event while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.
The health fair is open to the public and aims to encourage residents to take steps toward improving their health while learning about available community resources.
