MT. ZION — The Decatur Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a community luncheon May 14 bringing together local leaders and business professionals to discuss economic development and regional priorities.

The event will take place at the Mt. Zion Convention Center from noon to 1:30 p.m., with doors opening at 11:15 a.m. and lunch beginning at 11:30.

Featured speakers include Mayor Julie Moore Wolfe, Chelsea Sargeant of Caterpillar, Macon County Board’s Kevin Greenfield and Rick Price of Fuyao Glass. Organizers say the speakers will share insights on local initiatives, economic growth and upcoming projects affecting Decatur and Macon County.

The luncheon will also feature networking opportunities and a question-and-answer session, giving attendees a chance to engage directly with community leaders.

Tickets are $30 for members and $40 for non-members, with registration closing May 7. Seating is open, with tables of eight.

Organizers say the event is designed to connect residents, business leaders and officials while encouraging discussion about the future of the region.
