July 7, 2026 – The Illinois State Fair has announced the supporting acts that will join headliners during the 2026 Grandstand Concert Series, completing the lineup for this year’s fair.
The concert schedule features artists spanning country, rock, hip-hop and reggae, with opening acts performing before each night’s headliner.
The lineup includes Jake Worthington opening for Bailey Zimmerman on Aug. 14, Tigirlily Gold joining Lainey Wilson on Aug. 15, Grace Enger opening for Matchbox Twenty on Aug. 16, and Warrant performing with 38 Special on Aug. 17.
Skip Marley will join Ziggy Marley on Aug. 18, followed by Big Boi opening for Wiz Khalifa on Aug. 19. Drive-By Truckers and Hunter Flynn will perform ahead of The Avett Brothers on Aug. 20, while ERNEST will join Ella Langley on Aug. 21. Calder Allen will open for The Chicks on Aug. 22, and From Ashes to New will perform before Shinedown on Aug. 23.
Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II said the additions strengthen an already diverse concert lineup, while Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark said opening acts help create a memorable live music experience for fairgoers.
The 2026 Illinois State Fair runs Aug. 13 through Aug. 23 in Springfield.
