July 13, 2026 – State Representative Regan Deering says more than 100 boxes of donated diapers and wipes have been distributed to family resource centers across the 88th House District following a community diaper drive held this spring in partnership with the Macon County Farm Bureau.
The donations, collected during a drive at the end of April, have been delivered to organizations including DOVE in Clinton, New Life Pregnancy Center in Decatur, and the Pregnancy Resource Center in Bloomington. Additional deliveries are planned to other resource centers later this summer.
“I am so grateful to everyone in the 88th District who came out and donated diapers and wipes to help support families in our community,” Deering said in a statement. “Community initiatives like this show moms and families that they are not alone, and that our district will show up for them.”
Deering also thanked the Macon County Farm Bureau for partnering on the diaper drive and expressed appreciation to community members who contributed donations.
“I want to thank the Macon County Farm Bureau for their continued partnership, and everyone who gave generously to make this donation possible,” Deering said. “I am so proud of our community.”
