July 20, 2026 – ADM has appointed agriculture industry veteran Jeff Rowe as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective August 17.

The newly created position is designed to strengthen the company’s leadership team as ADM continues to advance its long-term growth strategy. Rowe will oversee ADM’s commercial businesses, global manufacturing operations and research and development efforts. He will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Juan Luciano.

Rowe joins ADM from Syngenta Group, where he has served as chief executive officer since 2024 after holding several senior leadership positions with the global agriculture company. Before joining Syngenta in 2016, he spent more than two decades with DuPont Pioneer in executive roles focused on strategy, international operations, biotechnology and regulatory affairs.

In announcing the appointment, Luciano said Rowe has built a strong reputation for driving innovation and operational excellence and will help position ADM for continued growth.

Rowe said he is honored to join ADM and looks forward to helping advance the company’s growth strategy while supporting farmers and creating value for customers and shareholders.

A fifth-generation Illinois farmer, Rowe also helps operate his family’s farm, which uses regenerative agriculture practices. He holds degrees from Iowa State University, Drake Law School, and a Global Executive MBA jointly offered by New York University and the London School of Economics.
