August 2, 2026 – Millikin University has once again been recognized as one of the nation’s top transfer-friendly institutions, earning a spot on the 2026 Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll for the sixth consecutive year.
Millikin is one of just 275 colleges and universities nationwide to receive the distinction, selected from more than 900 eligible four-year institutions.
The Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll recognizes schools that demonstrate success in helping transfer students transition and complete their bachelor’s degrees. Institutions are evaluated on transfer student success, campus support and sense of belonging, financial aid opportunities, acceptance of transfer credits and the overall transfer recruitment experience.
“Being named to the Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll reflects Millikin’s unwavering commitment to ensuring transfer students feel welcomed, supported and positioned for success from the moment they arrive on campus,” said Molly Berry, Millikin’s vice president of admission and student affairs. “Transfer students bring valuable experiences, perspectives and determination to our community.”
University officials say the recognition highlights Millikin’s continued efforts to provide personalized support and seamless pathways for students transferring from community colleges and other institutions.
