August 9, 2026 – The Decatur Area Arts Council is now accepting applications for its Regional Art Partners (RAP) Grant program, which helps fund arts projects and programming throughout Central Illinois.
The grants are available to eligible nonprofit organizations and schools in Macon County and the communities of Assumption, Clinton, Moweaqua, Pana and Taylorville. Awards range from $200 to $1,000 and can be used for expenses such as artist fees, art supplies, transportation, software and other project-related costs.
Projects must have a clear arts focus and be completed by Aug. 31, 2027.
There are two application deadlines for the current grant cycle: Sept. 1, 2026, and March 1, 2027. Complete application guidelines and forms are available at decaturarts.org/grants.
The Regional Art Partners Grant program is funded through the Illinois Arts Council Agency and the Decatur Area Arts Council.
