August 19, 2026 – The Decatur Bicycle Club will host its 41st Annual Amish Country Bicycle Tour Saturday, September 19, in Arthur.
The ride will feature five routes ranging from 10 to 30 miles, with routes beginning and ending at the check-in location at 120 East Progress Street. Riders will travel primarily on quiet county roads through the countryside and may encounter horse-drawn buggies along the routes. Several routes also pass the Great Arthur Pumpkin Patch, where riders can receive free admission if they stop during the ride.
Check-in begins at 7 a.m. Helmets are required, and snacks and drinks will be available at the check-in and rest area. A SAG support vehicle will be available until 3 p.m.
Registration is $30 through August 30 and increases to $40 after that date. Proceeds support Decatur-area cycling projects, including youth access and education, advocacy and bike safety.
