August 31, 2026 – ImpactLife is partnering with local organizations to host two community blood drives in Decatur during the week of September 14th through 20th.
HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital will host a blood drive Wednesday, September 16th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Assisi Room at 1800 East Lake Shore Drive.
The City of Decatur will host a second drive Thursday, September 17th, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Decatur Civic Center, One Gary K. Anderson Plaza.
The drives are part of ImpactLife’s ongoing effort to recruit volunteer blood donors and drive coordinators. ImpactLife is also participating in the third annual Abbott and Big Ten “We Give” Blood Drive, a nationwide competition that awards a one-million-dollar grant to the Big Ten school that recruits the most blood donors. Donors can designate a Big Ten school and receive a limited-edition school T-shirt, while supplies last.
