Macon County Specimen Ballot Available Ahead of November General Election

September 17, 2026 – The Macon County Clerk’s Office has made the specimen ballot available for the November 3, 2026 General Election. The ballot can be viewed through the county’s website or by clicking HERE.

Early voting for the general election begins Thursday, September 24, at the Early Voting Center, 151 West Wood Street in Decatur. Early voting hours are available on the county’s website.

Vote by Mail ballots will also be mailed beginning September 24. Voters can request a Vote by Mail ballot through the county’s website or at the County Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.

Completed Vote by Mail ballots may be returned through the U.S. Postal Service or placed in the ballot drop box located on the south side of the Macon County Office Building at Main and Wood streets.
