September 24, 2026 – Think you’ve got what it takes to find Bigfoot?
The Macon County Conservation District is inviting the curious to Rock Springs for a nighttime Bigfoot Hike on Friday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 24th.
Participants will learn about the legendary cryptid, local sightings and recorded sounds before heading into the woods in search of the “big guy.”
The evening also includes a look at nocturnal forest creatures, followed by hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows around a campfire.
The hike runs from 7 to 9 p.m. and costs five dollars per person. Registration is required by October 22nd.
